BUILDTELEHEALTH GUIDE
Before buying software or commissioning a website, decide what the business must deliver and who owns each step. This checklist connects the brand, accessible website, search strategy, care services, and operating work.

You need a defined audience, an understandable offering, a brand and website, appropriate licensed care arrangements, intake and portal tools, a payment model, and a plan for fulfillment and support. The order matters: a polished website cannot resolve an undefined care model.
Write down who the offering serves, which programs belong in the first launch, and why someone would choose it. An existing clinic may build on trust and recognition; a new venture needs a distinct position. Make that decision before approving a logo or page design.
Review competing offers, search language, and the uncertainties a prospective patient faces. Turn the findings into a page plan covering the program, clinical evaluation, charges, next steps, and support. Research should shape the site, rather than arrive after the design is finished.
Plan headings, readable copy, keyboard navigation, descriptive links, form labels, mobile layouts, and clear error or confirmation messages. Accessibility is part of the design and development work, followed by testing; it is not established by adding a badge.
Confirm the care services, supported locations, clinical decision makers, prescribing route, and pharmacy arrangements. Record which organisation answers medical questions and which team handles account, billing, and order support.
Map the website, medical intake, patient portal, clinical review, payments, prescription workflow, fulfillment updates, and ongoing communication. For each handoff, name the responsible team and the information needed. Include incomplete intake, declined treatment, failed payments, and cancellation requests.
Separate initial implementation, recurring technology and support, and variable clinical, pharmacy, transaction, and marketing costs. The launch budget guide explains how to make those assumptions visible.
Use approved test information to review the agreed workflow on desktop and mobile. Give the team an account and access list, support routes, launch dependencies, and documentation they can use after the build team steps back.
BuildTelehealth researches the market, creates or aligns the brand, builds the accessible website and search content, and connects the supported care and operating tools. Review the implementation process to see how that work is organised.
